The Silent Epidemic

I'm Antonette El Baz and I’m a health coach at Lush PCOS Pro, LLC who works with patients who have PCOS. I'm also someone living with PCOS.

I am so excited to announce my partnership with the largest PCOS support and advocacy organization, The National Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Association, @pcoschallenge and to join and advocate for the millions of women/#cysters/people in the fight against PCOS!

I'll be joining @pcoschallenge along with other movers and shakers on Thursday, Mar 3 for #PCOSAdvocacyDay to advocate in front of U.S. Congress, federal and local government agencies on public policy and legislation affecting women with polycystic ovary syndrome for increased research and access to care for the millions affected by #PCOS. Make a difference by sending in a letter to your members of Congress #PrioritizePCOS

PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) is a hormonal disorder that causes ovarian cysts on a woman's ovaries, which can lead to more/thicker hair than normal, weight gain, diabetes, depression, anxiety, irregular cycles, and even infertility and endometrial cancer. PCOS is absolutely devastating.

In 2010, I was diagnosed with PCOS after struggling with infertility. However, the opportunity was missed to diagnose me in adolescents when I had irregular periods.

PCOS is a big problem. Many of my patients are not getting diagnosed and when they do it's much later in life. I've seen many women with PCOS suffering from hair and skin issues such as severe acne, male pattern hair loss, and excess facial and body hair. I've seen some women who can even grow a full beard. Many see this as just cosmetic but this is beyond cosmetic. It affects their confidence, careers, and ultimately their livelihood.

Another big problem is infertility. It is absolutely devastating to not be able to create your own family because of this condition.

Increased funding for PCOS research, increased access to care and greater PCOS awareness are all things that would make a difference for my patients, myself, and those still going undiagnosed.

I'm here advocating on behalf of my patients and myself. We need help from Congress to address this major problem and to push specifically for more PCOS research as well as greater access to care for those affected by PCOS

I stand with and for my #cysters

This post sheds a much-needed light on the "silent epidemic" of PCOS, highlighting how common yet often misunderstood this hormonal disorder truly is. It is crucial to address the long-term health risks like insulin resistance and fertility challenges through education and early intervention. Empowering women with the right tools and information is the best way to move from silence to proactive health management. In the same way that managing health requires the right access, managing your online presence should be just as simple. For those looking for reliable digital access, you can use your world777 login to stay connected securely. Thank you for advocating for women's health and breaking the silence!

This actually made things clearer than I expected, especially from a practical point of view. vlbook login flow feels smoother after applying these ideas. Anyway, users often skip small but important steps. Quick note, your explanation about updates helps. Not always perfect, but works often. In many situations, clarity and consistency give better results than adding unnecessary complexity that slows everything down.
